Autumn Carter: This is episode 114, Evening Meditation and Visualization.

Autumn Carter: Welcome to Wellness in Every Season, the podcast where we explore the rich tapestry of wellness in all of its forms. I'm your host Autumn Carter, a certified life coach turned wellness coach, as well as a certified parenting coach dedicated to empowering others to rediscover their identity in their current season of life.

My goal is to help you thrive both as an individual and as a parent.

Autumn Carter: You are here and that is enough. This time is for you. Just as we prepare our bodies for sleep, we must prepare our minds, our hearts, and spirits to fully rest, reset, and renew. I created this for myself because I couldn't find exactly what I needed in the world. So I made it, and then I realized I couldn't keep it to myself.

And I hope that what you gain in here, you can't keep to yourself either. I first intended to include it in my digital vision board course, but then I thought, why not share it with everyone else? We all need this, we all deserve a space where we can let go of the day, realign with our deepest desires, and prepare ourselves for the life we are creating.

Why not do it subconsciously while you're sleeping? So get comfortable, be in a position where you feel fully supported. I recommend laying down or sitting. Give yourself permission to pause, to exhale the weight of the day, to inhale peace, clarity, and possibility.

 We are going to be working on grounding and breath work to start. Take a moment to close your eyes. Let's begin by breathing deeply. I like to place one hand on my heart and one hand on my stomach to really feel the expansion. We are going to inhale for four. Feel your ribs expand.  

And then exhale for four. Let everything soften, all of your muscles, not just your ribs. Again, inhale for 4, 2, 3, 4. Exhale for 4, 3, 2, 1. One last time. Inhale deeply, hold, and exhale. Fully release. Now, let's do a body scan to settle even deeper. Start at the crown of your head. Soften your forehead, your jaw, your shoulders.

Release the tension in your chest, your arms and hands. Soften your belly, your hips. Release the weight from your legs, your feet, all the way down. Fully relaxed. Fully present. Now, imagine roots extending from your body into the earth. Your energy is grounded, stable, supported, just like your mattress or the floor is supporting you.

No matter what happened today, you are safe in this moment. You are home within yourself. As you settle in, I want you to reflect on your whole self. Your mind, body, emotions, and soul. There are eight dimensions of wellness, each playing a role in how balanced and fulfilled you feel. Tonight, we will bring each into alignment, releasing what no longer serves us, and reinforcing what strengthens us.

Think about each one as I say it. How did this dimension show up for you today? What did you learn? What will you release before sleep? No worries if you fall asleep before this ends. Emotional wellness. How did you honor your emotions today? Social wellness. Who did you connect with? Who do you need to let go of?  

Professional wellness. Did your work, whether paid or unpaid, feel fulfilling? Environmental wellness. Did your space support or drain your energy? Why? Spiritual wellness. Did you feel connected to something greater today? Why or why not? Financial wellness. Did you make empowered financial choices? Physical wellness.

Did you nurture your body today? Psychological wellness, what thoughts shaped your day? There is no judgment here, so if you did judge yourself, breathe through that, release it. This is just about awareness, so you can realign yourself, we're going to work on visualization for healing and alignment to help with this.

We're going to shift into deep visualization, fully immersing yourself in the most peaceful aligned version of you with all of those dimensions of wellness. You are already becoming this version, step by step, moment by moment. Imagine yourself at peace, fully in tune with your emotions, honoring them without being overwhelmed.  

 See yourself responding to life with calm, resilience, and clarity. You are emotionally free. Physical wellness. Picture your body resting deeply. Every muscle softening. Your breath steady and effortless. You feel strong, healthy, and at ease within your own skin. Your body regenerates as you sleep, because you're getting enough sleep.  

Social wellness. Imagine the warmth of genuine connection, safe, fulfilling relationships. You are surrounded by people who uplift and support you. You are deeply loved and deeply connected. Intellectual. You see your mind expanding, absorbing, growing. You are open to learning, curious, and engaged. Every experience enriches you.  

Spiritual wellness. Imagine a golden light surrounding you, filling you with peace and purpose. You are guided. You are connected. You trust the flow of life. Occupational wellness. Picture yourself doing work that fuels your soul. Whether it's a career, a calling, or personal growth, you are fulfilled, valued, and abundant.

You are exactly where you need to be. Environmental wellness. Envision yourself in a space that nourishes you. A sanctuary. Your surroundings are peaceful, organized, and aligned with who you are. You create harmony in your environment. Financial wellness. Imagine financial security flowing effortlessly to you.

Your needs are met. You are abundant, stable, and in control of your financial future. You attract prosperity with ease.

Let yourself feel the truth of these visualizations. You are already becoming this version of yourself. Now, repeat these ask formations in your mind. Allow your subconscious to seek the answers. Why is it so easy for me to feel emotionally balanced and free? Why does my body naturally heal, strengthen, and thrive?  

Why am I surrounded by loving, supportive people? Why is learning and growth a joyful part of my life? Why do I feel deeply connected to my purpose?

Why is my work fulfilling and aligned?

Why do I feel at peace in my environment?

Why does financial abundance flow effortlessly to me? Now, affirm the truth of these beliefs. Say them in your mind or out loud. You might want to whisper them if you're saying them out loud, so you don't wake yourself up too much. I am emotionally free and resilient. My body rests, heals, and thrives effortlessly.  

I am loved, supported, and deeply connected. I am expanding my mind and embracing new possibilities. I trust the journey of my soul. My work is fulfilling, meaningful, and abundant. My environment supports my peace and energy. I am financially empowered and prosperous. Feel these truths, settle into your being.

As we close, take a deep breath in, and exhale fully. Your day is complete. You have done enough. You are enough. You are loved. Visualize yourself floating, light and free. Carried by peace. No weight. No stress. Just a deep, restful surrender. Trust that everything is aligning for you. You are becoming the person you envision.

With each breath, each night, each new day, you are stepping into your fullest self. When you awake, you will feel renewed, clear, and aligned. Ready to live in the energy of your vision. Sleep well.
