Episode 118: Visualizing Dream Clients and Jobs

I'm your host Autumn Carter, a certified life coach turned wellness coach, as well as a certified parenting coach dedicated to empowering others to rediscover their identity in their current season of life.
My goal is to help you thrive both as an individual and as a parent.
Yeti X & HD Pro Webcam C920: I am so excited you're here. This is something that's been on my mind, and when I woke up this morning, I had to do it. So we're doing it now. This is a visualization that is all around client creation, or if you're looking for jobs, finding your dream job. And this works for you even if you're not looking for these things, but it works even better for you if you are.
This is something that I created for myself, and I am also a business mentor, specifically with coaches. So this was something that I am creating for them, and I wanted to share with all of you. So let's dive in, I'm so excited. So this is supposed to be done when you are in your pajamas, first thing in the morning.
I am slow to get out of bed, so this is something I am doing while I am still under my nice warm covers. We are going to be working on waking up with purpose. Your day goes so much smoother when you wake up on purpose and you have something to look forward to. So we are waking up with that mindset. But before we really dive in, let's take some really deep breaths to really help ground ourselves for this day that we are living with intention and that we are looking forward to the day that is aligning our goals, our dreams, our aspirations, and the ultimate form of manifesting.
So let's take some slow, deep breaths. Please breathe with me. We're going to do three deep breaths. Deep breath in, deep breath out. In, out. Feel the warmth and comfort of your covers, of your bed, around you. Feel your bed supporting you, supporting your dreams.
You are setting intentions that not only will work for today, but for the rest of your life. Feel that your intentions are supporting you, your desires are supporting you, just like the bed beneath you.
Let your body continue waking up gently, knowing that today is filled with possibility and alignment. And ask yourself, what am I looking forward to today?
Even if the day ahead feels ordinary or a little more difficult, find one thing that excites you. A conversation, an idea, an opportunity you are creating. Here's the next step for this. We are going to set your intention for the day. While still cozy in bed or sipping your morning drink if you snuck out.
Place a hand over your heart and set a powerful intention. Today, I am open to the opportunities that align with my highest purpose. I attract the right people, conversations, and moments that bring me closer to my dream job or dream clients. I move through today with confidence, knowing that what I desire is already on its way.
Feel the certainty in your words. Imagine these opportunities already unfolding because they are. You just have yet to have them come to you. Visualize these things coming to you throughout all of this practice. We're going to work on engaging your senses and visualize success. Most exciting part. Now bring all of your senses to fully step into your dream day.
What does your ideal workday look like? Are you connecting with your dream clients? Receiving exciting messages? Having meaningful conversations? Finding people who will find the people that you need? That networking? What do you hear? The sound of someone excitedly saying, Yes, let's work together. Or, I have someone that you should meet.
Or, I know somebody who's struggling with that. Is it a sound of a notification for an opportunity landing in your inbox? Or text messages on your phone?
What are you feeling on your skin? Maybe the clothes you're wearing. Maybe the feeling of a chair beneath you. What are you feeling? What are you tasting? Are there any tastes in your mouth? What are you seeing?
What are you thinking? If you're having any negative thoughts, let them go. Leaves on a tree, the water flowing in a river, whatever visualization you need for that. What words will you say today that bring you closer to your goals? The words within your head, your heart, how loud. Maybe you're sharing what you do with someone new, sending a pitch, or reaching out to a connection.
Or somebody who just happened to pop in your mind. Those are my favorite ones. Hold on to these sensations. You're already in alignment. Next, we're going to identify today's opportunities. Take a journal, or simply reflect for a minute. I tend to reflect and journal later. Where might opportunities show up today?
What is your day looking like? What do you already have planned in your calendar? In your routine?
Where might they show up today? A casual chat with somebody? A response to an email you sent? Text message? An idea that suddenly drops in? That's my favorite one. A chance to share what you do. Seeing somebody who needs help and reaching out to them, even if it doesn't align with what you do or what you want.
You just see somebody who needs help. That's also one of my favorites. Write down or think through one small aligned action you will take today to move closer to your dream. It doesn't have to be huge. Usually those are the best ones. Just one thing. Example. I will share my dream with one person today. I will reach out to one person who is on my mind today and ask them how they are doing.
And look forward to that deep conversation with them. No superficial, deep. What are their dreams? What are their needs?
Now, we are going to move into your day with trust and openness. As you step out of bed, feel the energy of alignment already working for you. You're not chasing opportunities, you're co creating them. You are taking the aligned action. And here's the final mantra as you start your day.
The right people and opportunities are already on their way to me. I am ready to receive them. Visualize yourself. Open arms. I am ready to receive them. I'm not putting blocks in the way of my own negative thinking, of past experiences, of the way I think things should go.
Insert whatever block you normally encounter, or you think you might encounter here. Imagine those melting away. You are trusting. That things will work out how they're supposed to. Not how you think they will, how they are supposed to. And your arms are ready. Your life is ready to receive these things that you visualized that are your desires.
And let's talk a little bit about why this works, why you want to come back to this. It trains your brain to see possibilities where you may have overlooked them before. It sets you up to recognize opportunities in everyday interactions. You approach conversations with clarity and confidence because you already envision them.
You are already living them within yourself. You magnetize the right people by living in alignment. The more you do this, the more natural it becomes. And before you know it, dream clients and dream job opportunities start appearing effortlessly.
Now, what else do you need to do to motivate yourself? Is it a couple jumping jacks? Is it a little bit of jogging in place? Is it just doing that star stretch? I think that's what it's called in yoga. Where you just take up space for a little bit. Feel expansive in your body. And with your intentions.
